Fugo is also a very intelligent and serious member. Though he did indeed drib out of school in the end, information technology still stands that his academic power allowed him to enter university level at the historic period of only 13[8]. During Team Bucciarati's bodyguarding mission, he was one of the almost cautious and would frequently advise for the safer option. When presented with the choice to stay with Bucciarati's group and betray the Boss or go out and seek condom, Fugo deserted the group, having resigned to the logical reasoning of the group inevitably having to battle The Boss[12].

In Video-Games

Vento Aureo (PS2 Game)

Fugo makes his showtime appearance in the PS2 title, GioGio's Baroque Take a chance. In the game, Fugo has a different gameplay style from most of the other characters. Forth with Narancia, he'south the merely other character who cannot move when his Stand is activated; The player takes direct command of Purple Brume.

Fugo himself does not take any special moves (different Narancia's knife or Trish's piping), all of his attacks consist of pocket-size punches and his only true "special" move is his "Stupor" set on where Fugo activates a kind of impulse; this move serves to modify the way which Purple Brume will release the Poisonous Wave.

Imperial Haze moves very slow, but has a fighting mode similar to a boxer; the player tin perform combos if his uppercut connects with the enemy. Purple Brume can also launch the poison capsules as a long-range attack, inflicting a poisonous substance condition on the enemy (6 capsules at the total, which can be reloaded by disabling and activating the Stand up push button again).

Since Regal Brume has the compulsive tendency to clean annihilation, if the Stand is active for too long, information technology will stop fighting to make clean itself, forcing thespian control dorsum to Fugo. The histrion must expect a short period of time and and so reactivate Stand fashion to resume control of Purple Haze.

All Star Battle (PS3 Game)

Along with most of the Part 5 heroes, Fugo makes his improvement in All Star Battle, every bit a DLC graphic symbol bachelor for $1.99. He was confirmed in a special presentation for the game release alongside Iggy.

Unlike the previous game, Fugo tin move if Majestic Brume is activated, and it will follow Fugo much like the majority of Stand up Users. As one of the mass majority of playable characters in the game with the "Stand" Style, Fugo can turn Purple Haze on/off, irresolute movesets, as well equally having access to the Stand up Rush ability returning from the Capcom game, being able to set on in conjunction with his Stand.

Exclusive to Fugo is a Capsule Icon that displays how many of Majestic Brume's six bulbs/capsules are available. The capsules will only reload afterwards Fugo uses his HHA, GHA, or when a new round starts. Certain attacks volition release Purple Brume'south Homicidal Virus, an unblockable imperial deject of poison that amercement the opponent over fourth dimension. However, Fugo may suffer from its effects if he comes into contact besides.

  • Homicidal Virus Capsule: Any assault marked with a star (Normal) or diamond (Stand) allows Imperial Haze to intermission a single capsule open and release the Homicidal Virus.
  • Throw - You messing with me?!: Purple Haze holds the opponent down equally Fugo relentlessly kicks them.

While Purple Haze is off:

  • Spiral off!: Fugo lunges forward shoulder-first. Fugo's skills can be performed instantly post-obit this move. (Comboable)
  • Hit them!: Fugo summons Purple Haze to fly forrard and deliver a claw. This move is marked with a star. (Comboable through Puttsun Cancel)
  • Numbskull!: Fugo takes out a fork and stabs with information technology at face-height. If it connects, Fugo will grab the opponent past the neck with his other manus, and slam them into the ground hard enough for them to bounciness.

While Imperial Haze is on:

  • Fugo's Trigger-happy Side: Purple Brume unleashes a wild barrage of punches. This move is marked with a diamond. As Baloney, the number of hits, equally well as damage dealt, is increased. (Comboable through Puttsun Cancel)
  • This will be the terminal thing y'all ever see: After a brusk delay, Imperial Haze delivers a downward punch flight forward. This move is marked with a diamond and is a Stand up Blitz skill that Fugo can disconnect from to attack the opponent while it is executing. Every bit Distortion, the same punch will hit twice, dealing more impairment. (Comboable through Puttsun Abolish)
  • Friend or foe!: Purple Haze punches the footing, breaking a capsule and releasing the virus, though Fugo cannot avoid contact. This move is a Stand Rush skill that Fugo tin disconnect from to attack the opponent while it is executing. As Distortion, Purple Brume may hit the opponent as well in a low attack that cannot be blocked if they are not crouching (Comboable through Puttsun Abolish).
  • Got You!: A Throw. Imperial Haze flies forward and reaches out. If it connects, Majestic Haze will grab the opponent past the neck and smash them in the face, before throwing them up into the air and wildly pummel them. Every bit Distortion, the number of hits nearly doubles and damage dealt is increased.

When low on health, Fugo can evolve Purple Brume into Purple Brume Distortion. Purple Haze will also automatically evolve when Fugo uses his GHA. Fugo calls out for Distortion as he grits his teeth and Purple Haze instantly transforms. Appearance-wise, Purple Haze Distortion loses its blood-red irides, back spikes, loincloth, and boots, and its armor pieces and helmet turn black. Equally Distortion, the performance of Fugo's skills is increased while Royal Haze is active, and Fugo takes little damage from the Homicidal Virus. On the other hand, the opponent takes much more damage at a faster charge per unit from the virus. Distortion will last for the residue of the battle. Fugo'due south Capsules are completely reloaded when evolving into Distortion.

Fugo'southward HHA, "Assail like an explosion...", has him send out Regal Brume in a tempestuous flurry of punches, with the final punch breaking a capsule and releasing the virus. Fugo himself states that Purple Haze attacks like it's about to explode, and retreats like a storm. The HHA will restore up to 3 Capsules on activation (the Capsule broken during the attack is isolated from the balance and does not count). Damage is slightly increased equally Distortion.

Fugo'southward GHA, "Resolute Optics", has him tell the opponent that he'southward made a decision worth betting everything on, before he turns effectually and reveals a capsule betwixt his teeth, biting down and blowing the virus forwards. If they are hit, the opponent will rapidly first melting from the virus as a close-upwards of their skin dissolving is shown and they let out an agonizing scream. Purple Brume Distortion, inappreciably able to command itself, begins to violently and brutally beat the opponent, spreading the virus into their system even more. Baloney finishes past delivering a devastating spinning punch that sends them flying as they're completely eradicated. Along with Funny Valentine's GHA, Fugo'southward is the just special move to alter the contrast of the screen (resulting in a more than black and white combination of colors to add more intensity to the special, and obscure the sight of his opponent dissolving). The GHA as well completely reloads Fugo's Capsules. Of note is that Fugo'south use of a capsule betwixt his teeth to unleash the attack is in reference to his first demonstration of Distortion's ability during his final battle against Massimo Volpe in Royal Haze Feedback, while Distortion's violent assault is in reference to his fight with Illuso at the same time.

Aslope the rest of Team Bucciarati and Ermes Costello, Fugo is 1 of the only characters who activate Resolve Mode instead of the normal Rumble Style when low on health. In this land, attacks that do non event in hard knockdowns or blow-backs no longer phase the grapheme.

During dialogues before fights with the remaining cast from Part five, Fugo is painted as a traitor (much like Araki originally wanted him to exist) as he feels remorse fighting his previous friends. Narancia is the but exception, as the two just have an aggressive atmospherics.

  • If Fugo wins a fight against Bucciarati, he will express anger at himself for not boarding the gunkhole.
  • If facing Diavolo, the Boss will appear disappointed at Fugo for having turned traitor once again, implying that if Fugo had later rejoined his friends before Part five'south cease, he would accept needed face Diavolo. If Fugo wins, he'll simply state that the Boss' defeat was for having called him 'brazen'.

Likewise, the events from the novel Purple Haze Feedback appears in the game as an extra affiliate under the Part 5 Story Mode. The player controls Fugo and faces off against Giorno (with Aureate Experience Requiem activated at the get-go of boxing, permanently). After the fight, Fugo swears loyalty to Giorno, calling him "GioGio".

Due to his lines, moves, and some special moves, Fugo is the only character in the game who shares mannerism from both the manga storyline and a light novel.

Fugo'south default color makes his hair yellow and his dress green, but one of his alternate colour schemes makes him look similar to his previous game appearance (with white hair and maroon wearing apparel).

Eyes of Heaven (PS3/PS4)

Fugo was confirmed for the game aslope Giorno, Mista, and Narancia. In Eyes of Heaven, all references to Purple Haze Feedback have been removed, including the being of Purple Haze Distortion. Considering of this alter, some of Fugo's moveset and dialogue accept been adjusted accordingly. The game still features theoretical interactions between him and the other Role 5 characters in the context that they're encountering each other subsequently Team Bucciarati's betrayal: Fugo still remains a reluctant fellow member of Passione who interacts with his former allies with some level of regret, either shown awkwardly chatting if paired up with them, or hesitantly preparing to battle if matched against them.

As a Stand up User, Fugo is one of many characters with wildly varied abilities that grant him uniqueness in boxing. Similar to All Star Boxing, Fugo's attacks allow him to unleash Purple Brume's Homicidal Virus. Anyone infected slowly loses wellness over time and takes increased damage from all sources. The virus is potent enough to fifty-fifty break health gauges by itself, contrasting other wellness-depleting condition ailments whose effects are barred from doing the same. However, Fugo himself and even his ain partner are not immune to being infected. Of note is that if Fugo is guarding when the Homicidal Virus breaks a health judge of his, he volition not exist Downed nor gain invincibility.
